Target Audience: Grades 9-13 & university transfer students
Every film director has a unique vision on how to turn their scripts into a visual story. In this short program taught by Northwestern alumni, students will learn how to develop a distinct directorial style, in which they explore artistic choices motivated by story, and learn the technical aspect of breaking down a narrative. Students will learn how to turn short-film scripts into creative project books in which directorial style, script breakdown, logline, synopsis, crew, cast, and mood boards are created.
